feature wise and hipster wise, it good. fan boys will adopt it.
y sell a good product when u can sell a slightly bad product, and still later sell the good product U ALREADY DEVELOPED

it looking retarded in the pics and vids, except for the vid duane posted, where u got a better sense of the size. it looking huge, and it not looking that retarded.
i would not mind a double rear axle version of this.

Car manufacturers: We need to make cars rounder in the event of pedestrian collisions

when they unveiled the Model 3 it was just like the actual car sold. Same for previous models.
They do it Apple style and not prototype style link other manufacturers do in an Auto Show.

I could see our liscence office having a big problem with those led lighting bars.

Could also see them with big lift kit and fender attachments

I now seeing these pics on the app. That design on the Lockheed F-117 is for stealth purposes. Not aerodynamics. That flat panel shape called facets, as well as the special absorption black paint helps to scatter radar, etc. It's an old design about 1978.

How that could possibly be streamlined and energy efficient against wind drag at any speed? I feel this is just a prototype model to get people talking, but the next iteration will be the real deal.

*It will start at $39,900 and begin production in 2021.
Folded plane bodies can be some of the most aerodynamic shapes possible. The designs date back to late 70's.

The body shape chosen by Tesla for the Cybertruck was a consequence of the designers' incorporating the built in sliding bed cover. The bed cover slides out of the way and onto the roof.

That shape is actually not very good aerodynamically at ground speeds. Even at flight subsonic and supersonic speeds that airfoil shape is not ideal for aerodynamic efficiency but rather increased maneuverability among other things.

But ent fellas like Hummer and Jimny that also designed with ruler and set square?

Pickup "Van" supposed to be a load/goods transport vehicle so I don't really see the need for high speed and therefore aerodynamics/looks shouldn't be a top priority.

The fact that it could right-off a tiida/almera/B13 with little to no damage to itself, is a great selling point.

The tooling and moulds for that pickup going to be limited to a sheet-metal bender/brake.

I absolutely love it. May be the first pickup I'd actually consider buying if Tesla ever has a dealer here.

Sorry, but this vehicle is simply ugly in my view.
Then again is a fine line between genius and insanity.
