Rain has stopped in Fyzabad, and power is back up.

Still grey and cool.

Yeah but even a graze by a hurricane might be equal to a hit from a tropical storm. Irma like she on a rush to reach hurricane status. 60mph winds as at 5pm.

So I was told, if that is the case though we have a lot more to come because there are a lot of pole wooden and metal that need replacing and in this rainy weather it will only take longer.

Harvey is not done yet could be approaching Katrina levels of damage before its over.

Radio Meteorologist Alan Archer in a report yesterday said we would be hit with a Tropical Storm a week from yesterday.

NHC:

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 100 mph (155 km/h) with higher gusts. Irma is forecast to become a major hurricane by tonight and is expected to be an extremely dangerous hurricane for the next several days.

These hurricanes are expected to get way worse in the coming years, the waters are getting warmer as the temperature of the planet rises and more moisture as the water in the ocean evaporates giving the storms even more fuel for destruction, so it will bring even more rain. This is just the beginning, unless they find a way to cool the planet it is gonna be big problems.

Luckily for us we are located outside of the hurricane belt.

^ Show me evidence where I said that this country has never been hit by a hurricane in human history, because I expected better than that from you.

"Luckily for us we are located outside of the hurricane belt."

^ pretty sure that is what I have said and that FACT goes a very long way in making us LUCKY

The location of Trinidad makes us very fortunate when it comes to hurricanes in the Caribbean and this is a known FACT, and the evidence supports this statement. It is actually how the term "God is a Trini" came about.
