Even scale it so 80-100 1pt 100-120 2 pts over 120 3 pts and 3 pts being 3 month ban and the points staying for a year. If you go to 4 pts in a year 6 month ban from driving etc.
Then that driving will stop cause those ppl not gonna want to hire someone to drive them around or travel.

Almost every other country with our level of development or less has faster speed limits on their highways.

Examples ?
Jamaica -max 80
Barbados -max 80
Singapore- max 90
Japan- max 100
Canada max 120(multi-lane) 2lane highways and outiside cities and towns 80
I threw in a couple first world countries just to compare.

drchaos wrote:You forgot to mention these
Martinique 90 to 110
Guadeloupe 110
Cuba 100
DR 100
Guyana 100
French Guiana 90
Even some of the freaking poorest countries in the world have faster speed limits than us like Ethiopia, Niger and Guinea.

This is exactly how I felt this morning when a Gov convoy assisted me in getting home faster.
PCM 1 Merc S class with escort (Police car and two large black SUV's with blue strobe lights, the strobe lights of champions!) driving at 110 KPH. Met them at Macoya and tucked behind them, ran every red light with them to Grand Bazaar with some good measure of weaving to avoid cars that pulled on the side or slowed down to allow us to pass.
Anyone know who PCM 1 Merc S class is? Would love to thank them in writing for shaving off a good few minutes off the Sunday morning market run.
