works great!!!
Purchased same fan controller. Installed on Saturday. Works great thus far.
Mine working for a couple of months now, no problem either.
Anyone know where I can get an original or after market radiator to buy, new thing I'm looking for. I wanna swap out a rebuilt one that's not closing/sealing properly, water boiling out slowly

I changed the IACV two Saturdays ago , the mechanic told me that the car would need to be driven for a while for everything to synchronize..however Friday gone there while driving around the savanna the car started to jerk around violently with the rev going up from 1000- to 2000, when mashing the brakes it slows down but the idle keeps going up.
The idle is only bearable when the AC is on, funny enough it actually steps down..when the car goes into reverse though feels like it has no power and bucks..
Help!! guys don't know what to do
Hope you all can make sense of the description
Moses you speaking about gdi or 4g18?
Try resetting the ecu. take off negative pole on battery for about 30mins and re install.
Car has to be started until it comes to mid temp in park. switched off and restarted again to retrain ecu with proper air and fuel ratios.
I cant see iacv doing this if its a functional unit. with gdi it could be engine pump or egr valve causing erractic idle.
with 4g18 map sensor can be cleaned, its on or close to the throttle this causes low idle too

So just an update on this issue, tried the ECU reset (TWICE!) and it has actually gotten worst over the past few days.
The idle issue is worst than before, when the AC is on now i get the same issue with the jerking around when braking...it just fluctuates between 1000-2000...
Think i would try and get the MAP sensor cleaned this weekend..is it a DIY if so what do i need to look for

in addition to what is stated above the following should be checked.
1. CAM Sensor ( this sends the signals to the coil packs if the correct current is not sent you will get this problem)
2. Coil Packs (if the coil packs are not firing properly you will also end up with this problem)
my problem was the coil pack as well as the CAM senor.
Check a mechanic that knows about the 4G engines so the problem can be rectified properly.
even if your check engine light did not come on get the car scanned

Moses 4g18 has a map sensor. its located on the throttle body or ontop intake manifold, its a black sensor. (cant remember location as i have 4g15)
Its held in with two 10mm bolts, unjack the sensor, unscrew them and pull upwards, clean out junk and re install. This is a dyi.
This and cleaning out throttle body with bars and iacv.Check this post viewtopic.php?f=33&t=458785
You could also be looking for a vacuum leak but i doubt as this usually happens with erratic idle even when the car is in park.
You basically taking this one step at a time to eliminate your problems and to avoid mechanics that guessing from bull sheiting you.
Where idlemind when you need him.

Yea any contacts on this would be great....I am still facing some serious headache with this idle thing..and the mechanics seem to be clueless in solving this issue

in addition to the above check the following:-

I suggest a trained mechanic with experience with 4G engines to check this
also you might want to get the car scanned even if you check light does not come with the right type of scanner they can pick up if a sensor has a problem

deltree wrote:Hi Guys, It's been more than 6 months since I am banging my head trying to find a solution.
I want to replace both o2 sensors on my car. But I don't know what god forsaken model the CS2A is I have went through global, european and american catalogs there seems to be no mention of the car in any oxygen sensor manufacturer's list, not even NAP japan.
If anyone can tell me what substitute sensors are applicable for the CS2A then I will forever be indebted to you.
Part Numbers:
MR578661
MR578294
These original parts are available but they are like 10% the cost of the car itself landed in my country so I need to find a direct fit substitute which can be much cheaper. People say the 4g18/4g13 o2 will work on this the NTK part numbers for 4g18/4g13 are: OZA609-M1 & OZA548-M1

OK so cleaned out the MAP sensor and it was going good for a day..I gave praises to the heavens..then BAM!! it started all over lolz ..wondering if it is the sensor itself going bad or the IACV i changed giving me the issues.
Going to have the Coil pack checked and the CAM sensors, might as well put it up on the scan machine.
i did a scan with one of those small tools and nothing came up, so hopefully the one the mechanic has would show the issue..wanna fix this soon as i am selling the car

Its usually the idle control valve that cause this. I was getting a bad idle. Sometimes 1500rpm, sometimes 400rpm. Changed out the iavc an problem solved. The crank sensor causes this also, without even throwing a chk engine light. Iacv is easier to change so start with that. P. S. People does want to sell u an entire throttle body for 1500. Just because they know the iacv goes bad
