This will give access to the pit that is already existing and fenced off from the CMRC event. No additional areas will need to be paved or constructed. Also the fence along the straightaway ends at the bottom corner (Frankie Boodram corner at the western end of the circuit track), so if they decide to run West to East then they will have to construct additional fencing to keep spectators from gaining access to the track. Running West to East will be more costly with infrastructure IMO.
IMO it's no where near as in good condition as the newly resurfaced track and it has a concrete pavement / drain directly on the side of it for the entire length. Right now that's better suited for spectator parking and bleachers.Aaron 2NR wrote:Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:In my humble opinion, I think for the sake of cost efficiency, work to be done and how soon this event will be, they are going to run East to West and use the concrete area the VIP tent was in for the start line / staging area. you misunderstand. The expenses mentioned here are for the lease of Wallerfield for Motorsport for the rest of the YEAR ($100,000). TTASA was hoping they could pay all of it after the CMRC event. The low turn out at the CMRC event meant that TTASA could not pay Eteck the entire lease one time, so they are having another motor racing event, in this case drag racing, to raise funds to help pay the lease.fiveforward wrote:Sooooooo TTASA's plan to address expenses incurred during a circuit is to hold a drags.
