Is there anything I should look out for if possible?

It would be better to build to order your Mac as you will get to choose which components are in it.
Are you sure you need a laptop, because the iMac 5K is awesome for video editing.

I manage multiple mail accounts across multiple domains and run the business via email, exchange and collaboration with Google Apps for Business. TriniTuner mail servers are run through gmail.
When I switch entirely over to Mac in December last year I wondered about the mail app in Yosemite, I tried it and after a couple days I deleted the accounts and went back to using the browser.
Zero sync issues across devices and I have ALL my mail wherever I am even if I don't have my devices / laptop with me.

I currently use outlook and its messing up bad. With Gmail do you get desktop notifications, if so how to apply it?
