of course!

especially if it has a mechanical hard drive
don't get me frightened please had presentation today an it fell cause I was real vex but it got just a little dent that all using it atm an it's working fine

HDD equipped MacBooks have a Free Fall sensor to minimize damage to the drive.
The fact that you can use it is a positive sign.
Upgrading to an SSD would make that Mac feel turbocharged.
Plus it will be able to take a bit more knocking around.

Bought an iPad Air 2 recently to replace my well aged and broken iPad 2...the digitizer broke, sent it somewhere to replace and they put the digitizer on like crap AS WELL AS damaged the LCD. Seeing as it's just laying there, anyone know where I can get a LCD\digitizer replacement? I'm finding the digitizer everywhere but not the LCD.

Is it possible to move an iTunes Library to a networked drive, my macbook drive is almost at capacity. So I was thinking of moving my iTunes library and photos library to a NAS storage

Is there anything I should look out for if possible?

of course!

with everything coming with SSDs these days, only crazy people keep their media libraries on their internal drives

Apple Geeks!!!!! besides Right enterprises and iWorld who has the latest 15" macbook pro's?

Should I just buy directly from the apple store and skybox it in?

Im still deciding wether to splurge on the dedicated video memory MBP as I'm thinking of getting more into After effects, I currently only do web and print media.

^ Also try F1 Connect. Raptor on the forum also brings in Macs on order.
It would be better to build to order your Mac as you will get to choose which components are in it.

Are you sure you need a laptop, because the iMac 5K is awesome for video editing.

Yes I need a laptop Duane......I'm on call 24/7 to make edits to artwork. The 512 ssd HD should be good enough for apps alone as I save all work on an external HD.

Thanks I'll call the other options you provided.

F1 connect was a solid experience for me..I spec ed my macbook on the apple website got a quote and then went to f1.
The price was SLIGHTLY higher -which was cool because I had the local support.
They came in on time and were helpful with my learning curve.
6 years later its still going...

With that in mind.....any one here has a preference between Mail and Outlook for Mac to manage their email.
Ive been using Mail but never liked it and So Im looking at switching

Yesterday the Mail stopped recieving mail and day before stopped sending(didnt notice until yesterday)

I think Ive checked everything -I think and Im wondering if I delete reload the accounts from start whats the risks if any.

My phone is sending and receiving mail as normal.

any thoughts?

I use outlook as mail was giving some trouble with our office exchange mail setup....don't know if it was based on the limitations of our servers or the IT staff.

I don't use either. I use the browser and the mail app on my iPhone. I got rid of outlook a couple years ago and couldn't be happier.

I manage multiple mail accounts across multiple domains and run the business via email, exchange and collaboration with Google Apps for Business. TriniTuner mail servers are run through gmail.

When I switch entirely over to Mac in December last year I wondered about the mail app in Yosemite, I tried it and after a couple days I deleted the accounts and went back to using the browser.

Zero sync issues across devices and I have ALL my mail wherever I am even if I don't have my devices / laptop with me.

Guys,

Youtube videos are not playing on the mac.

Flash is updated
Other video sites are playing.

The vid is loading and an image of the start of the vid is on screen-if I move the progress indicator it changes to the relevant image...but the vid just will not start to play..

I appreciate any help...
Im heading out so I might take long to respond.

How? Because that's the most annoying & off-putting thing about Tuner now.

Have you guys tried Airmail / Airmail 2? Ive been using it for some years and it has been quick and reliable. Add the Spam Sieve learning extension and its great combo.

Noob question, how do I get my iPad out of safe mode, it's not responding to any screen gestures.
