Even York is outsourced to that garbage chinese factory that 90% of AC are made.
I think GREE makes their own Ac but can't be sure. Coldwave and Comfee etc etc are all garbage.
I have a Frigidaire and its Garbage.
Stay away from buying anything from pricesmart aswell. I bought my first split unit there and the circuit board blew in the first hour of use.
Everything sold there is of inferior quality somehow. Dunno if its old stock that never sold and they dump it in our very own Latin American dump portal.

Then they would have mini versions to all current models.

R22 is not used in the US again and with new environmental compliance here in T&T R22 will become difficult to get or very expensive and parts for R22 units like compressors and valves will be difficult to get.
I was just about to buy a 12,00 BTU Panasonic split unit and I was advised not to because they are R22 units. I'll wait for the Panasonic R410 units.
well then ask them if those units use R22 or R410still tippin' wrote:Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:whatever new air-conditioner you are buying just make sure it runs on R410 and not R22 gas.
