But after having spent quite a considerable sum on their cars do you think a lot of people would be willing to leave their cars home and travel? I can only see it working if punitive measures are added along with improved Public transportation (Tax/Levy for driving into cities, no gasoline subsidy, increased MVT etc.)

No Sarcasm.
These improvements have made a major difference in commuting time for me personally.
I can't speak for south to north traffic, but where it used to take me 40 mins to an hour to get to work during these vacation times, (an hour to 90 mins when school is open), I've been able to get to and from the office in 20 mins on a bad day. 10 - 15 mins on a regular day.
East/West traffic has been significantly reduced on a morning and an afternoon.
And it seems the MOWT heard my suggestion when I was telling a couple associates that I believed they should extend the Aranguez exit filter to meet the UBH exit. I firmly believe that when THAT opens... there'll be no more crawl from Maritime to Gran Bazaar.
Also, I hate to say it, but I've noticed that alot of the traffic I experience when I'm heading southbound is actually macco traffic. People slow to a crawl and near stop just to see what's causing traffic on the OTHER SIDE.

I think you need to join some of the highway threads in the ole talk section. Most people from the east who utilize the CRH have experienced increases in commute time since the GB lights have been removed (not counting the time school has been closed).

Cost is now $153,000
acesinghit wrote:it's nice to see the smaller sedans (subcompacts) with the more powerful engine option eg:
Hyundai Accent 1.6 $153k
Chevrolet Sonic 1.6 $161k
Suzuki SX4 Sport 1.6 $161k
Honda City with the 1.5 ivtec $161k
Let's be real it could have been worse and with a higher price not too sure if they still valid though..
