As we originally reported, the update even left some of those without battery issues with quicker battery drains. Over the weekend, even more issues within iOS 5.0.1 have arisen including Wi-Fi signal loss, microphone failures, and cellular network issues.

Update: some people have confirmed this method works. However, you will need to repeat the process in case you reset the iPhone.
Note: Apparently, this works with AT&T's iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS. You will need to cut the T-Mobile SIM card so it fits into the Micro-SIM card slot in the iPhone 4S. There are several devices to do this accurately available online.
Unlocking your iPhone would allow you to use it in T-Mobile's network as well as in other countries' networks.
So anyone willing to test it out?

From what I know you can't borrow a gevey sim , once it's used on one device it will not work on others , the gevey sim is easier to use but I do not recommend it at all unless u have no choice , buy it locally , don't take the risk to buy it online and it doesn't work but a guy in this thread knows a legit website you can get it from last price I saw for the older REAL Gevey sims to unlock iOS 4 was about $35 us ..so estimate $350 tt for shipping taxes etc
The instructions to unlock suppose to come with it also
There are a lot of fake gevey sims so just a heads up

it should be updatable too, since you would just update the phone and you unlock it again by repeating the method. This method would only need to be done once and then again when the phone OS is updated. Unless of course an update "fixes" this loophole and prevents this method from working again.
