Which woofer do you think would be the better driver for me to use? My amp give approximately 1000wrms@ 4ohm and I have a 90amp alternator. Vehicle is an SUV.

I never played with those new model Audiopipe subs, but the older gen subs were da bomb! especially for SPL..

What SUV?
1000Wrms, 1 12" - I'd bet against ya!

Please make a thread showing the progress you made with your endeavor.. Long time I haven't seen anyone post something SPL related..

Good luck!

Was looking at the AA option you had but its not the right ohm.

if you can PM me something that is either single 4ohm or dual 2ohm in my budget would be nice.

The sad thing is the TXX AP models are over $500.. The 600Wrms 10" sells for around $700 new.. not sure how much the 12"s go for..

far from it^^

high xmax reduces efficiency heavily, unless you're building for bass race , bass boxing ect

spl people think is how much pressure can be built in a car, if that was the case everyone playing 20hz tones would be making the highest scores

spl is the intensity of a wavelength acting on the pressure sensor's diaphragm, and once used correctly it's possible to hit a high score from lower power

do some searching on the forum, you'll find a thread with all your answers
