On a Canadian factory unlocked model MC605C, once i swap to a Digicel sim it reverts to "carrier 10.0". I even used it in USA with a AT&T prepaid microSIM that i got from an AT&T store. Once you connect to iTunes it will update with the carrier .ipcc file.

After activating on iTunes and the bmobile 10.1 carrier update - it is LOCKED to bmobile (checked it using both TSTT & Digicel postpaid and prepaid sims)

An image at jailbreakme.com (as of this writing) depicts a ski slope and a sign warning of a black diamond, which denotes a difficult path in skiing parlance, and "PDF" further down the slope.
The "PDF" could refer to a PDF exploit used by the service last year, but that's speculation.
redsn0w posted an image that appeared on jailbreakme.com early this morning, showing the iPad (below). There is little detail for now, but we'll monitor the site.

And no, I did not post a picture with a specific release date. Rather, I got really distracted by this scroller business, sorry :p
SRASC wrote:I was wondering myself. If I remember correctly 8pm GMT is normally 3pm AST, making 6pm GMT 1pm AST.
Not sure if he was referring to that picture but I saw this on Comex's TwitterAnd no, I did not post a picture with a specific release date. Rather, I got really distracted by this scroller business, sorry :p

Plan 3 sounds pretty good to me .... $6000 upfront and you receive the handset "free" and they credit the $6000.00 over 24 months.... so thats $250 to the account so essentially you only paying $250TTD a month for the next 24 months and after that you can get out the contract:
250 Minutes bmobile
250 sms bmobile
unlimited so called 4g
unlimited gprs/edge (when it rolls out)
The average cost of a handset is 4000 - 6000 with minimal warranty.
So its like buying an iphone for 6000 and paying 250 for the post paid services.
well thats how i look at it

Is this possible?
mojosodope wrote:Applenberry announced their untethered, no need to dial 112 unlock solution today for the iphone 4. These are the same guys with the gevey and gevey pro sims, but like all good things there's a downside, you have to jailbreak your phone and install their repo. No word on pricing yet but it is legit, called the Gevey Ultra. I for one am sticking with my gevey pro, done with jailbreaking for good but I will sell to those interested once they are released. Listed as coming soon.
