For the Easter my brother decided to take a vacation, and left me with his vehicle and some money............
Since this in the ICE forum, i guess that you know where it is going. So on to the pics.
Headunit:The headunit is a Clarion VRX785bt. Its a very nice feature packed headunit (bt, usb, dvd, etc....) but it is SEVERELY lacking in processing. Will either be changed or a eq746 may be added. Strangely enough, I don't have a pic of it in the van, so here is one of it in the car.....

Stripping out the upholstery:
Factory Goodness:The vehicle came from toyota with clarion 6" in the rear doors which literally disintegrated over time.
Old Vs New:These were replaced by the JBL GTO 627
Dead Doors:The doors were deadened both inside and out with most of the gaping holes being sealed. The floor was also done, from as far up the firewall that i could reach, straight down to the back seat. Also special effort was made along the path of the driveshaft.
Power:The RF T600.4 was scalped from the car for this install. Hopefully in time a 1000.1 will join it.
Crimped and Heat shrunk:All connections were crimped, soldered and heatshrunk, from the speakers to the passives to the power and ground. The wires used was the Shok Industries 4awg and 12awg CCA, which are very very nice to work with. Did not use any techflex in this install because of budgetary constraints explained later.
Front Door Intended:The original intention was to use the JBL T696 from the car in the doors, however due to TheWiseOne (Michael and Ryan) those plans abruptly changed, along with the proposed budget layout. The baffles were cut and speakers connected and installed. The tweeters are mounted in the kickpanel and are firing off axis. Will try to do a review later in the thread after they have broken in and i get some listening time.

Back Doors Installed:Pretty straightforward installation of the rear coaxials.
Sub Stage:So....there i was......thinking about what to use for the sub stage.
Moving from a ported single 12" pioneer premier flat sub i was hesitant and wanted to try something new.
(Enter Ryan and Michael AGAIN.........)
This was made even more difficult by some astounding offers on the new clarion flat 10", however, I could not make it happen with the remaining budget, so it was back to the original plan.....8"
With a maximum of 4.75" working space to retain any access to the underseat compartments, the JBL GTO804 was chosen.........4 of them. This was done for two reasons.
1) the amp is 4ohm stable when bridged (4 of these can be wired to 4 ohms)
2) mono amp upgrade is planned (4 of these can be wired to 1 ohm)
With a recommended sealed volume of 0.3cf they were perfect.

So here is where we stand for a little while.
The box still needs to be carpeted and a few rattles in the back need to be chased down.
After being broken in for a few days/weeks it will be re-tuned and at that point the decision will be made as to the headunit/processing (anybody want it to buy???)
In a couple of months, or sooner if i can find a mono at the right price that will also be added, but it is not a priority for now.
*edit*
We never got around to adding the monoblock. He was satisfied with the output from the system. However we did add the eq746 and here it is installed in the glove box.

On a sad note, the system is going to be uninstalled shortly as he is planning to sell the van.
Some of it will be repurposed to another vehicle within the month, while the rest of it will go into storage. Will try to do a complete vid before taking everything out.
*end edit*I should update with better photos of the full system installed by next week.
Thanks for watching.
