On route to Platinum...I have all gold with just the Tuned SLS in AMG Academy (Flight Academy Mercedes-Benz AMG Intermediate - full nurburgring lap....2 seconds off gold atm) and the Endurance races to do.

B-Spec mode is ghey though...will be a while before I finish that crap since I've only been focusing on A-Spec....only level 4

2 seconds off.. damn. I just ran thru all the gold in intermediate but the full lap I'm about 6.7 seconds off. My best time before was about 15 seconds off so I guesss I'm improving.

7:05 in that is hard..

Nice...I managed to get it yesterday so only the endurance events left and B spec mode. I despise B spec mode. Going to use the X1 for as many events as possible here on out...just want to finish the game.

I've found that if you do the rain events and come back to it you have a better appreciation for the level of mechanical grip you have in the dry and can push the car out of the corners much smoother. Also controller setup might help...I have a wheel but use my controller mostly. Use R2 for throttle and L2 for brakes so you can ease into the gas. Also I found when I switch TCS from 0 -> 1 I was able to drop it from 7:07.*** to 7:05.***. At first I managed 7:05.357 then (and quite frustratingly) 7:05.085....try it with TCS on 1 and see...gives you just that much little extra traction out of corners to get on the gas a little earlier and also if you are pushing hard you get away with a little more here and there...it all adds up.

Another thing is you'll see the pattern of where you should be passing cars. You have to make the first sector around 45 to low 46 seconds....second sector 1:19 to mid 1:20. You should be passing the SL on the kind of midway straight just before the right hander in 6th gear. (after all the initial twisy bits on the what feels like the first half of the course there's basically a straight....it has some gradual corners but you attack it at full throttle...you should know what I'm talking about)

Hope that's of some help. Good luck.

Thanks for the tips I'll try it out. Yea I know the section you talking bout, full throttle is right.

In Prologue I used to dread Nurburgring, used to find it too long, but now ah find that's all i does want to drive on!

BTW: The X1 MAdddddd but I have to try it with the Wheel, I don't really use it much, when using the controller it does be too sensitive the car does turn too fast.

To spend $10M on a car to make 150k/race I don't find makes much sense.. you get the 30,000 experience even if you do the race multiple times?
