Survival of the fittest, can't afford tertiary education?...then too bad.

When you are born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you can make statements like this and dismiss the good that GATE is doing.
As far as I am aware, if you do poorly under gate, you will not recieve any more funding.... not so?

& who monitors this?
I know plenty students below the 80% class attendance......hell, I know some with under 50%, I even know one girl that attended 2 classes in one whole semester.
I have seen many enroll & drop out when things get tough / came back / fail / drop out / do next course etc & none have paid back one red cent.

You may have a point there, my friend dropped out because he couldn't make exam fee's and he just finished paying them back, I'm not sure if he voluntarily did it or they informed him that he had to.
I for one NEED gate otherwise i simply wont be able to afford the tuition fees + exam fees....in february i hadda find approx 276 pounds X 4 in exams fee's as well as SBCS administrative fee's and text books.
I sure as hell always attend all my classes and make sure an pass all my exams and i don't mean a bare pass i try hard to be ontop.

GATE only pays the tuition. So we should keep this in mind.
And why are we still doing British degrees? isn't it better to get an American education since our dollar is tied to the US dollar and therefore makes sense since every time the British currency raises we need to pay more?
I asked a few people this who are self proclaimed scholars and they told me its cause British education is the best in the world.
Thats funny because as far as I know Nvidia, AMD and Intel's chief scientists are graduates from either MIT USA, IIT (In India) and California institute of Technology USA.

No one has said that. The PP needs to stop blaming others and get the job done. No one is asking for miracles.

Where did you see anyone mention Ramesh or Panday recently on the forum?
