Doh say that nah. In 2010 Manning caused some ppl to get cars repossessed and thing. Others had to voluntarily downsize.

Wasn't she one of the loudest voices calling for Bas to pack it in and spend quality time with his wife and Dolly?

Aligns with my theory that she’s happy to play opposition until retirement or death. Most of the benefits less of the stress.

The solution is a test match game involving red and yellow players on the field only. If you want change you’ll have to play the long game

The way the constituencies are cut makes it impossible for any other party than the PNM to win outright.
Unless this is addressed PNM will continue to win comfortably both local and general elections.
Kamla with 29 seats in the 2010 elections could have fixed it but she allowed Rowley to get the better of her.
Now she's trying to do it all over again. She's regretting it.

Why wait, if people are concerned about the UNC leadership then join the party and vote her out.

^thats a very good point
ppl expecting others to do the job of getting rid of kamala or building a third force whilst sitting on their couches, this attitude gets nowhere

how to build the mindset to get ppl off the couches is the million dollar question of course and probably equivalent to getting the fence folks to come out to vote

Yes and very true but what do you expect when taxes that people pay are withheld and staved for funding by the red government to these UNC areas

Do you really think that the ill- house tax will benefit ur area.

Under the red government ur house tax will go to benefit red government areas, and yes this was said in parliament.

This is part of the reason I left. I can’t say I will give up on TT entirely but there is this level of willful apathy that pervades the country that irks me so. My blood would boil just hearing the ignorance from people considered educated and accomplished, sitting in their lofty positions not caring one iota of their fellow man and his poverty. Only to worry about the latest fete or paraphernalia that must be obtained to be seen and lauded. As long as it did not directly impact their life, who cares.

Trinis swimming in toots and saying thank you. That type of attitude can rub off on you and change your psyche. Though my family remains there, I had to get away. I still love TT but I can’t live there. I only recently came to that realization.

Whether UNC, PNM or anyone wins, no one can stop the :

-major gang problem which contributes to the murder rate
-TNT being a tran-shipment point for drugs, ppl, guns etc

The only way I seeing a SOE coming is when another virus comes around or when high class politicians are affected by crime.and I doh mean jus robbery.

It can be stopped - there will be collateral damage and probably multiple infringements of basic human rights as mandated by the UN.

Just need someone who is willing to to do it....

A padna was showing me today that this is why pnm never allows pos/diego/sealots etc to get improved as the 1% wants it for townhouses/houses/hotels because they would push out their voters and split them up too much

After the first recount the Lengua seat, the only one the PNM won in PTRC has moved to Tie.

Another recount to happen.

You will never be able to vote Kamla out so long as she controls the UNC membership list.

She knows how to play that game very well. She will die in office unless the UNC brass orchestrates another coup like they did with Uncle Bas.

As much as I like what El Salvador did, the problem with doing that in a racially divided country is it will lead to allegations of racial profiling, and eventually conspiracy theories about 1 race trying to sterilize the other etc.

The 2011 SOE is a good reference point. PNM MP Donna Cox was the leader of the mob back then crying that all the gang members being locked up were innocent black boys whose only crime was the color of their skin. Unless we get a law enforcement agency that can actually gather evidence and build airtight cases against these gang members, this approach will yield short term results but bigger problems in the long term.

You know whats ironic, every single day in the magistrates and high courts yellow lawyers defending who are percieved to be red supporting criminals tooth and nail for them to be back on the streets. You guys really think that &&, Gerry and crew going to let anyone mess with their food. Keep taking chain up about gun talk from Tanty, both parties are beneficiaries of the gang culture and it will never disappear.
