I can't remember the exact weight requirement, but I recently purchased a DJI Mavic Mini which is only 249 grams, and it was processed through Customs like normal. No extra paperwork or drama required.
Yeh the one I want is 530 grams which should be ok.. Our drone law once 750g and above requires registration well but as well all know depends on the officer mood that day and if he get horn or if he wife eh cook for he etc.Arcmanov wrote:You may not need anything extra if it's below the weight specified by Civil Aviation where you're required to register it.

Stoick wrote:Typically the only value I see in Aeropost is the 0% tax you pay to ship to their Miami address, and free returns.
So I only use them for expensive items where the tax is significant, and where i definitely want the free return option (laptop, cellphone etc.... ).
Its just that I find their service is equivalent to snail-mail. I have rebranded them Escargot-Post.
Otherwise, I go with RPM and JSL for the less expensive stuff.

2-3 days to clear customs after being received in trini.
With prime, 5-7 days from placing order to delivery.
One or two "delayed flight" here and there which taking longer.
