Zone them and send them to the best school according to their ability etc. No more living in San Fernando but going to school in POS because ya couldn't pass for Naps/convent etc but daddy had a link to get ya into a "prestigious" school up North.

Well no. You are assuming the zone is that limited. Somebody living Beetham/Sea Lots will still go a convent or College but someone living Mayaro will not get to go to those schools in POS for instance.
Again, the whole point of zoning is to have as much "prestigious" schools distributed around the country so somebody living in the "country" will not miss out due to lack of access and resources. There should also be a prestigious school in places such as Mayaro etc to capture as many students in the surrounding area and neighbouring villages.
We keep forgetting "prestigious" schools are nothing more than colonial relics that tend to favour the local whites and 1% who use their junior schools as feeder schools to enter those schools at the taxpayers expense. Can't have an exam to determine secondary placement whilst having 20% reserved by the school to use to trade favours. Unless that 20% starts paying their own school fees privately then that 20% is keeping spaces from children who deserve it.

Continuous assessment as I said, can’t you understand English? You will be graded on your overall performance from grade 3-5 and placed into the school of your choice just as in SEA , but based on your marks over the last 3 years and not a damn exam…

Congratulations to the Indian community. You have worked hard and come a long. Unfortunately Africans can never reach to this level as long as the pnm is around.

This up there with persons saying that indians become richer and prosper under the pnm govt? the pnm democratic type policies ensure that the central govt calls the shots in all decision making regarding the direction of the country and the unc republican policy ensure that the big business call the shots. pnm had more indian founders such as sukeran, narace, mohammed, mahabir just to name a few. in fact sukeran is al wari grand fadda. is it a conspiracy to get the black vote and keep the black people down by making them believe pnm is a black party and unc is an indian party?

True eh Jason,
But these kids are the upcoming criminals and are already harming our people.
If they don’t know better, a big stone can be the wake up call.
Hadda reduce the adult age to maybe 13 or so, these pests get away with too many things.

Carry on while we live in false hopes.

Yup, you can't have this kind of disparity between the two major ethnic groups. And cover ups and deliberate attempts to downplay the performance of one ethnic group over another, not through actual merit but through gimmicky, will not help the situation

There is a reason the disparity exists and it is not because of racism. It is because of social practices and values.

The same group of people that tell you they care are the ones that make sure the failures stay right where they are.
These people profit from failures and does not care to see their own people prosper. They will then turn around and blame those that succeed as the reason for the failures

You're a dunce if you think that one ethnic group is doing better than the other. Both ethnic groups are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things so their performances can be taken with a dose of salt. None of those "performers" will place anywhere near the top in an academic setting that is world class and demanding so we just fooling these children who future consists of uwi and ojt. Meanwhile the really "bright" children of this world are afforded world class opportunities that our children can't even begin to imagine. Then they coming on tv to beg for funds and scholarship money.
But carry on with ya beliefs in what you think "excellence" is. I really feel for these children who can do better than a Sea or "prestige school". I really do.

So the jail population is 50/50? The acceptance to UWI is 50/50? The avg household income is 50/50?
