Ignore the trash. Letting your blood pressure raise over stupidity is the worse thing we can do in this situation. In my office, people still refuse to wear masks( even though some of them are hideous and would look a lot more presentable if their masks were on) and stop congregating. Honestly, it gets me really worried even though i wear two masks at work.

Ultimately it is the responsibility of persons to obey the regs....for their own good. For example, everyone is blaming Modi for the spike. Yes he allowed people two attend two festivals in a filthy river and had an election campaign in West Bengal. But, ultimately persons should have known, after a year in a pandemic what time it was and how they should behave

Numbers gonna be high this weekend and next week, lots of tests done in the last few days....positivity rate is going up.

324 new cases means a 20-30 net increase in hospitalizations.

Of note, we had net increase in 157 hospitalizations this week. So end of next week we might be hitting 500 at this rate. Which is our max capacity as stated by Dr. Abdool.

The Astrazeneca is effective against the P1 strain. Sinopharm vaccine seems to be as well.
