Also pre amps and crossovers are processing equipment so thats what the guy up there was asking.Whats your bassline like?My advice to you would be to swap out that amp and get a higher quality one that can give you enough clean power for your speakers.
I believe that a pair of 8's and a pair of small drivers properly installed in your backdash will suffice (you can put a pair of tens with the drivers if you see fit)But again the main thing is that you properly power them and install them.I honestly dont like to put more than one pair of loudspeakers on a back dash as it takes up too much space most of the time not allowing each speaker enough volume to maximise output.Use two with drivers and if you need more use 6's on the doors.
