Feed-back from those in Florida is now a kinda strange resignation and people just trying to go thru the motions.
People just focusing on work with many working late tonite and tomorrow on their jobs (will blow your mind how people moving in warehouses), bare-back sweat kinda thing.
Shut-downs seem to be planned from Thursday evening and nobody making new commitments.
BTW, don't underestimate the toughness of Floridians including our own Trinis residing there.
Still hoping for the best!

Windy.com is reporting waves as high as 13.6m near the center of Irma

She's the second strongest hurricane on record in terms of sustained wind speeds..after Hurricane Allen in 1980..this is a storm of epic proportions folks, most Cape Verde hurricanes are catastrophic.

all 67 counties in Florida under S.O.E...some people are deciding to ride out everything at home...the I95 is expected to be crammed over the next few days and flights are a no no...so prayers be with them

they really rushing to prepare yes

hurricane winds wider than the whole of florida

they remove all weight and driver limits as well as suspend tolls on highways so supplies can be brought in asap

they warn people who in high rise buildings next to construction cranes, that the safest place is inside a concrete stairwell

where irna hitting right now tho?

the messed up thing for those living on those islands is that it is soo small there isnt anywhere you could evacuate and go
so its like you have no choice but to stay and pray for the best
