There are re­ports this af­ter­noon of mul­ti­ple peo­ple be­ing shot in Port-of-Spain short­ly be­fore 3 pm to­day. 
Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands the shoot­ings be­gan on the cor­ner of Prince and George streets where gun­men wound­ed three peo­ple and shot one woman dead.
Po­lice say the gun­men shot at a maxi taxi on the Blan­chisseuse taxi stand but could not say if the vic­tims were in the ve­hi­cle when they were shot.
The gun­men, in a black Nis­san Ti­i­da, were ac­cost­ed by po­lice and up un­til 3.30 pm, there were re­ports that three gun­men were shot dead by po­lice. 
In an­oth­er in­ci­dent around 1 pm, a gun­man in a pass­ing car be­gan shoot­ing at a group of peo­ple stand­ing along Er­i­ca Street in Laven­tille. A five-year-old boy in the group was shot in his leg and tak­en to the Port-of-Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal for treat­ment.

We blame them, and the CoP, because they lie about what they will do to reduce the murder rate. Heck GG basically dared us to judge him on the murder rate, something even Stephen Williams was smart enough to try and deflect, and duck.
The issue is that too many innocent people are getting caught up in their sheit, so while I certainly am not saddened by a murderer's death, innocent 5 year olds should not be affected by this madness. Instead of being a whiny, irritating troll on FarseBook, GG should ask himself why in broad daylight, 3 men were brazen enough to pull out automatic weapons and shoot up the place. The answer by the way is knowing that getting caught, or worse yet convicted, is slim to none, so all GG's hand wringing and attempts to blame LATT, Judiciary and "activists" is useless and unnecessary.

I with you on the solving of crimes. Detection is piss poor. Anybody could get away with anything here. The shootings however , and murders in general are often impossible to stop and that's my point. These fellas decide to just pass and spray up enemy territory, police can only react after the deed is already done. Getting away with it is a different story.

The gunmen then went to the corner of Prince and George Streets, Port of Spain where they opened fire on a North Coast Road bound maxi-taxi hitting two men and a woman. The woman later died at hospital.

According to reports, as a car drove along Upper Erica Street, Laventille, one of the occupants leaned out and started shooting at a group of unsuspecting people.

Sources said that at 2.50 pm, gunmen shot at a maxi that was parked at the corner of Prince and George streets. The gunshots caused panic leading to several people running into nearby businesses for cover.
