That is true, but I was more referring to pest that coming in person to rob, rape, kill you in your own house, car or workplace.

Cops save kidnapped woman, 70

A 70-year-old Point Fortin woman, the wife of a contractor, was rescued by police following a high-speed chase on Thursday night.

The woman was found bound and blindfolded in the back seat of her BMW X-5 Sport Utility Vehicle.

A bag containing cash and jewellery belonging to the victim were also found inside the vehicle.

A teenager and another man were held in connection with the incident.

A Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) release stated that officers of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) received information of a kidnapping and robbery in progress in the Clifton Hill, Point Fortin area around 7:56pm.

Police said the information was immediately passed on to ASP Ramdeen of the South Western Division Operations Unit who coordinated a response.

Officers spotted the white BMW X-5 belonging to the victim proceeding at a high speed along Canaan Road, Point Fortin and gave chase.

Police said the vehicle subsequently crashed into a street sign in the Mahaica district.

Six male suspects exited the vehicle and escaped into some nearby bushes. However, one of them, a 17-year-old of Couva, was apprehended by officers.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers found the victim who was bound and blindfolded. She was taken to the Point Fortin Area Hospital for treatment.

A second suspect, a 27-year-old of Point Fortin, was arrested following enquiries by officers in the district. He was found with the keys to BMW and Toyota motor vehicles in his possession.

The release stated that the victim told police that she had just arrived at her home when she was accosted by six men who took her inside the house and demanded cash and jewellery.

She said the men then tied her up and threatened to kill her, before placing her in her BMW motor vehicle and driving off.

Officers of the SORT, SWD Task Force, SWD Emergency Response Patrol, Point Fortin Criminal Investigations Department, and Municipal Police are continuing the search for the other suspects.

Perhaps but to be a UNC MP you have to support 1 billion spent on a wastewater plant that never produced a drop of water, support the spending of 34 million in life sport for nothing tangible, fondle flight attendant breast, 6 million to wreck a 2 million water tender, build box drains that escalate flooding, etc

Thief smears himself in excrement to avoid capture

A MAN who defecated and smeared himself and the wallet he stole when he was confronted by the victim, was sentenced to 12 months in prison on Monday.

Ramesh Gayapersad, who described himself as a “hustler”, faced San Fernando senior magistrate Jo-Anne Connor charged with stealing the US$60 wallet which contained TT$4,500 and US$50.

Police prosecutor Cleyon Seedan told the court that it was at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday that the victim Jadoonanan Chankar parked his vehicle along the SS Erin Road, Debe. While walking away, bystanders told him that his brown leather wallet had fallen to the ground.

Gayapersad grabbed it and ran. Chankar and the bystanders followed him and Gayapersad was found standing on the roadway. He defecated and pasted faeces about his face and upper torso and also on the wallet, Seedan said.

The victim made a report at the San Fernando Criminal Investigations Department and officers arrived. Jadoonanan identified Gayapersad as the person who robbed him. Gayapersad still had the wallet in his hand.

He was charged by constable Joseph Charles.

Before Connor, the unemployed and single Gayapersad said he begged and would “hustle people for aloo pies”

His criminal record showed he had served time in prison for eight larceny and house and shop breaking and larceny offences. Connor considered that his last conviction was in 2017. She also said that some of the items including TT$251 of the money was recovered. She sentenced Gayapersad to 12 months hard labour and ordered that the items be returned to the owner.

Boi if you know how I hate dem stinking pests that will hang around food places just waiting to irritate people who buying food. Whether is street food, or air condition store. Worse than mc flies.

I surprised them doubles and aloo pie vendors don't keep a container of acid nearby.

But Uncle here didn't thief once or twice, but EIGHT times, and this would be number 9.

If you feel sorry for him the first time, or even the second time, that is your problem, but I guarantee if they had chop off both hands after the 3rd time, it wouldn't have a 4th.
