Hmm bluesky rates cheaper than seabox it seems. How is their service and how long does it take for items to reach trinidad?

I'm testing seabox with a 40lb shipment of consolidated orders. Starting to see inefficiencies in their system that worry me even though it hasn't become a problem yet. I think as it is the more customers seabox get, the more their service will suffer and start to unravel. Its clear to me they now learning this business

I brought in stuff that was not time critical using both SeaBox and Blue Sky Shipping. Customer service from both are about the same. I would give both of them an average rating with respect to customer service.

Blue Sky's rates are cheaper. But if your item weighs less than 15 pounds, you will get charged for 15 pounds. However, if you have a few packages coming, you can consolidate them to make up the 15 pounds. The only catch with this is that your packages, first to last, must arrive within a two week period.

SeaBox does not have the minimum weight charge.

Well everything arrived safely with seabox. Including some memory which was in an envelope and mixing with bigger boxes so i will give them a 9/10 on shipping and handling for this experience. The prices work out to the cost using air freight before the opt tax was added. The real savings come in shipping heavier items. Like a 10lb item that cost 20usd, cost 200ttd to take out. With airfreight might have been closer to 600-1000ttd depending on dimensions of the package.

Same as air, just the time delay with the speed of the transport.

i shipped something one year ago that was 55lbs and was $880
I want to ship a roll of paper (30-35lbs) and they're charging me MC $900 :? :?
So idk if there prices went up or the CSR's dunno what they're saying,
but currently looking for an alternative, because ill be bringing in heavier items often
once i can get a REASONABLE price.

Looking to bring in the engine mounts for my car. Does it make sense using seabox or one of the others or my normal skybox. I don't need it immediately.

There is also Laparkan or Crowley for heavy LCL shipments.

Definitely by sea. Remember its 30% duties on car parts plus VAT and OPT. So you can save if u not hurry.
