Years ago I had one of those small 13 inch steering wheels fitted to my ride , the original steering was 16 inches. I got pull over by LO and given a note to correct it with a free appointment and inspection.

So I fitted it for the inspection got my car passed ect . AS soon as I got home I refitted the 13 inch and never had a problem since.

Know a guy that has hugh tires fitted with a suspension lift on a Hilux. He swaps them when he has pit inspections to the normal Hilux tires, after he gets his certs then reinstalls his hugh tires .

I could be wrong but I don't think there is a charge for it , only a note to appear for a free inspection .

Yuh still cyah drive over 100km pal, doesnt matter if yuh have ah monster truck " high " vehicle or a low rider.....yuh still hadda roll at an average speed. Can't really see how a low rider will slow one down UNLESS y'all don't slow down at potholes and sorry bumps .......try ah next angle.

Happy they charging these idiots. Depends on the size of the pothole. You low rider idiots need to slow to almost stationary or be pulling all over the road dodging potholes or driving almost sideways to get over a speed bump. It's a stupid style. They not on a race track and they usually driving some pile of sheit

Sigh...all the "poor" ppl who driving poor ppl cars that lowered will feel pain.
The "rich ppl" who spent "time and money" and "sourced" their coilovers and lowering springs that "perfectly" fit their rides, sorry "sport cars" will be exempted.
It's better and classier to have all vehicles looking the same. Welcome to North Korea or some place like that......

discretion of officer could mean anything....

would be nice if LO comes down on the same officers in their employ who have sirens and dark tint on their personal vehicles...

Jim crow rules (not laws) by the wimms and fancies of LO and other law enforcement.

What is needed is to take court action against those that feel the law is their own.

I remember years ago where tuner Mr Gear got a ticket for a painted on number plate and he took it to court . He won his case cause there are no laws for a painted on number plate.

Most of these new rules are not laws . If people give these clowns an inch we will end up like Nazi Germany where rules are greater than Acts and law of the lands
