The dual inspection bays for vehicle certification in POS LO have columns that are seperated from the walls of the building.

The single inspection bay used by vehicle transfer officers is in a separate building. It was not damaged by the earthquake.

WTF really going on in Trinidad?

Did my "T" (Navara) inspection at VMCOTT in San Fernando last week. Arrived at 3:30 PM and left 30 min after.

They took my information at the front desk, insurance drivers permit and payment of $300.00.

Their techs then took the keys and drove the vehicle to the back and did everything while I waited in the office. Very smooth process.

Just ensure you underwash and engine wash.

Saw the sticker expiring in 2020 as per the legal notice posted previously.

LEGAL NOTICE NO. 99

to 3200kg that is two years old or more,
from the date of manufacture, shall produce his motor vehicle for inspection by an examiner biennially, at such premises designated for that purpose as the Licensing Authority may direct.”

Made by the Minister this 23rd day of July, 2018.

Nice. I went Sando LO the week before with my T vehicle and I didn't even get a sticker. They said I not getting any and I should keep their inspection paper in my van as proof. As usual, the handbrake test was the most difficult to do but I got through. Next time I going VMCOTT yes. I prefer somebody else do that handbrake test. It is the stupidest test ever.

Is there a moratorium on inspection of regular light vehicles now and when does it expire? The sticker on our car says November this year but the handbrake doh seems to be holding.

Im also wondering if they shouldn't extend it due to the situation with flooded out vehicles as they would have to do repair work before.
