This guy is amazing! I wish this style of soca would be a hit in TT. It's way more musically pleasing and has an old school music composition style than what we have had for the last decade or so.

His late mother - Mairoon Ali and Bajan father - Edwin Yearwood must be so proud.

Anyone who reps T&T to the world deserves full credit.

The beat was interesting - a fusion of latin / pop / jazz / .

I am still waiting to hear Soca. But it shows how our artists have to evolve to get our music out there.

Now what the heck did he sing / scat / talk / rap?

I find some of his background music should have been used instead of major lazer though. He has many great songs, ola from on the kan kan riddim wold have been the best choice there.

Well at least Major Lazor is sort of Trini.

Also, kinda surprised how many of you never heard this song, it's been paying on radio since January.

Yup, think was star947 I heard it on. Really like how he trying different stuff.
Everything come out of here is jump, wine, drink rum and horning. He original in every way and dont sing crap.
Actually building my new system so I can play his tune "wining good". Epic bassline in there!

Lmaoo ikr! Trinis does suddenly be proud of they talent ONLY when they make it big on a foreign platform. Just like Winston Duke, where they was when he was in Law & Order and Modern Family years ago? If it wasn't for this video they woulda just carry on like nothing happen.

If he had buss out Ola he woulda own that show.

Next time he may use one that may be a lil more within the traditional soca genre.
