The 5.9 was the only aftershock I felt.
Plan was to do something at the office and ride out soon after; that plan definitely is in effect.

Elevators around PoS seem to be giving trouble. My sister got stuck in one for over an hour in the Oval this morning. Waterfront carpark's are out of service. And a few others in low rise buildings in Town also out.

Weirdly enough the entire world is recording earthquakes at the moment. 87 in the last 24hrs? Latest one is in Peru about 30mins ago. Before the Venezuela earthquake this morning there was one in Chile before. Same as yesterday. Idk anything about this stuff but it's odd nonetheless.

Doesn't seem out of place -

It is estimated that there are 500,000 detectable earthquakes in the world each year. 100,000 of those can be felt, and 100 of them cause damage. .....https://earthquake.usgs.gov/learn/facts.php

https://www.iris.edu/hq/inclass/fact-sh ... akes_occur

Earth is an active place and earthquakes are always happening somewhere. In fact, the National Earthquake Information Center locates about 12,000-14,000 earthquakes each year! This fact sheet illustrates information on the frequency of earthquakes of various magnitudes, along with details on the effects of earthquakes and the equivalent energy release. On average, Magnitude 2 and smaller earthquakes occur several hundred times a day world wide. Major earthquakes, greater than magnitude 7, happen more than once per month. "Great earthquakes", magnitude 8 and higher, occur about once a year.

It is not closed. Apparently the buildings are built to withstand 10.5 earthquakes. Structural engineer deemed the buildings safe this morning. The damage you talking about is more with regard to fittings and would be appropriate for an earthquake of this magnitude

10.5 yuh say. They need to fire the engineer who say that.
