WTK: Punta Cana family vacation.

So I and the family planning to go there for a vacation in August.
Any advice on places of interest as a tourist to visit.
I was already told that we have to get yellow fever shots.

More than likely you're going to a resort. PC is a popular destination for Canadians so I'd look at Expedia for reviews.

Went to Amber Cove in the DR as part of a cruise. The beach is nice, and the drinks were free, as well as lunch. The drive to get there in an open truck was a bit bumpy, but if you're into offroading, you could organize a 4X4 and like yourself. Punta Cana, as someone said is the "resorty" area of the DR.

I can't remember having to get yellow fever shots when I went. My father had to get it for Brazil.
Can't say much for places outside the resort, I was part of a Fanta endorsed trip to Excellence along with other latin american teens and they just took us to a souvenir shop lol.
