Dunlop have a good range of options for most budgets and can be bought at Tyre Clinic. They offer decent warranty that they actually honour.

I normally call around to find out brand and price, then check out the reviews on tirerack.com by the vehicle and brand available, then make my decision.

what size?

15"
Is there a "premium" brand which significantly better than the rest or once it classified as "good" I don't have to worry?

A decent 15" tyre at a a good price I bought was GoodYear Eagle from Automotive Components. Off course that was a while back (2011) as I haven't had that sized tyre on a vehicle since.
Paid $505 installed up in ACL in Arima.

all depends on your budget. a decent tyre is 3-500 dependant. there are cheaper tyres with decent performance, but you need to be aware of the pros and cons and drive accordingly
