Need some advice ppl

I am looking in to starting a small business doing spraying of mosquito, does anybody any thing i should know anything about it and also is there anything i would need to register business for?

Hello Op,

Before you get into this business, make sure that you have the right attitude and determination.

Service in this country sucks big time, it is disgusting, pathetic and its at the core of utter scum.

Try your best not to be in the bracket of incompetent, rude and lazy trini labour force.

Be honest, hard working and follow up with customers...go the extra, give the extra....do the job to the best of your ability...listen to the needs of customers, give them all options, dont assume everyone wants the cheaper product....look clean and dress clean...be a step ahead and reach to work before time...smile and have respect...discipline workers as necessary.

To me i think you should know all this before registering.

Also find out your market segment....can you sustain yourself with this alone or will you need to do other things? Remember most people may think that spraying for mosquitoes is the County Council/Local government job, so they may not want to pay for the service.

You could try doing other things like basic landscaping and then telling them you also offer that service. If you can contact your Council or Local Gov't office and see if they are willing to pay you to do it for them, however be aware that sometimes they may be late on payments you will have to learn the ropes of that on your own. It would be a good thing for you to work with them it would help you expand your base and introduce you to different areas and people.

If I think of other things I'll post up....other that that good luck, work hard offer good polite service and don't be affraid to diversify.

Also if you get repeat customers organise them on your phone so when they call you have an idea of who you are talking to. If possible get a cheaper phone for your business purposes it only needs to be prepaid......
