Plus they finally get oil when the entire world is shifting to other cleaner forms of energy. Oil might be dead in the next few years.
Another thing is that they have corrupted leaders just like in Trinidad, so they suddenly think they gonna turn first world in a year? That money ain't reaching anybody besides those in upper-class guyana.
Guyana had enough resources to dig themselves out of the hole they find themselves in. Oil ain't gonna save yuh in de long term.
Plus wether they like it or not, if they do developer an energy sector in their country is trini people going to be running it. Trini people worldwide in de energy game...
