2017 Water Supply and Conservation Plan (see later pages in this thread for up-to-date water schedules)

With the advent of the Dry Season 2017, the Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) has been implementing its 2017 Water Supply and Conservation Plan with the aim of prudently managing the country’s available water resources.

The Revised Water Supply Schedules is attached.

2 days by me and some weird hours....time to buy 2 1000 gallon tanks...the 400g under pressure.

The Desalcott owned and operated desalination plant, provides 40 million gallons daily to WASA, which is used to supply the Point Lisas Industrial Estate, as well as augment the supply to areas in Central and South Trinidad.

From my observation, what they don't tell you with this schedule is that the pressure is reduced also, so if you have a tank on a high stand, you better install one on the ground too.

I have 3 tanks in my yard(2 as a spare) one to the house with a pump..tbh wasa service is rapidly deteriorating...days does go by without water in parts of grande...imagine the army base in Cumuto struggling for water weeks now.

So water is on when man not home....what kinda bs is that.....
Why could they not have the water on in the evenings and night when working people home and can put their tanks to full and can wash their clothes cook some food and fricking bathe.......I really don't understand these people who make decisions in this high ranking government departments. ..

Haven't gotten water by me in 5 weeks. Made numerous reports but the stupid wasa hotline people claim that they have no reports of any disruptions. This after numerous neighbors called and lodged complaints as well as visited their office. Thank goodness for rain. Did some guttering and got my 4 tanks filled.

Yup I remember back in the day panday had a drive .....water for all....things really improved back then .... but seems we gone back 20 years within the last two years of pnm governance

1800 down south for a rotoplastic, i paid a bit more for a buffalo which is a new tank on the market, made in trinidad i believe, quality is far superior. Thats the price delivered btw.

i have 6 400 gallons and 1 1000 gallon. Usually i get a day and a half with 400g but varies.

I can only do that because I have many tanks and usually have a regular supply. By us, water usually goes for a couple hours a day. So my tanks are like doomsday prepping.

this time around people should start investing in tanks and pumps...relying on good water pressure to reach inside yuh house is pure failure
