OP, it is unlikely that you will get that password , most IT technicians who worked during that time were Overworked, Underpaid, Demoralized and then crudely dismissed after their contract ended and thrown away like empty doubles paper, they were insulted with a month to month contract as a poor excuse for continuation of employment and it is my understanding that most of them said " to @$$&):;(/-" with the Ministry of Education and do not hold their former employer in high regard. I would suggest that you give up.

Just use Konboot. Uses a vulnerability in windows to unlock the user accounts, google it.

That won't work because your not able to boot from any other media other than the internal HDD.

The only way around is to put the HDD in a USB enclosure and user another computer to copy the windows installation files onto it. That way every time you boot, you will be presented with an option to install Windows from the hard drive.

Other than that, just put a slim DVD drive into the laptop and you will be able to boot from the windows installation disk.

Both ways always worked for me for repairing students' laptops
