This beat to me sounds more like from the popular tune "bounce" [not sure of the name] than pull up selecta?

That's what I figured thanks for confirming! Anyone have any leads to where I might be able to purchase the Pull up instrumental version please as I can;t find it anywhere online?

Neither the Duck nor the Duck Dance. You can tell there's a slight difference

it's the "Haul And Pull Selector" riddim.

Early Black~ A Fi Count Out is on the riddim. The only other song on it.

If you check d record label on the youtube video below you can see it was produced by Lemon "photographer" and not Steely & Clevie .

Yes, the bassline to me is different. It's on the B side of that record, just can't seem to find anyone who has it on mp3.

lol, how did you know? I was very surprised that a lot of people from them times don't know that popular mix, I have it in a mix by Howie T but the quality is not good so I am seeking to make my own, any links to any of them?

Yes, those Maxi Taxi days music I have been trying to purchase but can't seem to find people who have them at least not from the mixes from the 80s and youtube doesn't have them either.

Also I had always thought the DJ's just simply used to run both tracks at the same time? I will try it out tomorrow and let you know.

Yes, I just played the mix itself, you can hear when the snare drum kicks in so it appears the DJ's did not use an Accapela version of The Flame, I am still looking for one though if it did exist.
