I believe the pricing of the tickets for the qualifiers has a very big part to do with the ticket sales. I believe that unlike the matches at the QPO where the Knightriders were responsible for prices the finals matches at the BLCA are the responsibility of the CPL themselves. They have chosen to charge exorbitant prices (US$40 for grass banks and higher for seats). At the cheapest prices a family of three will have to fork out $820 without accounting for drinks, food etc. That's way too much man!!

Maybe because the rights to host the finals were sold for much cheaper than previosu years led the CPL to trying to make up some of the shortfall via ticket sales. Maybe when they sit in Hyatt and look upon PoS with its many tall buildings (comparative to other Caribbean countries) they feel we rich and can pay.

Shadab Khan is to be replaced by Yasir Shah whose last T20 match was in February. Seems like TKR is on the decline while GAW is on the rise. Guess it's gonna be a GAW vs SKNP final :(

On another note, Pollard claims that the no-ball was not deliberate. From a Barbados Today article:

“When I took up that ball on that last delivery I had one thought in mind, trying to bowl my best delivery, what has been working for me throughout the tournament, a short delivery to see if he would have a waft at it and it would go up in the air and we could get him out,” he added.

“Although we would have lost the game I was still thinking about getting him out and using my strength what I have been doing.

“Unfortunately striving for that extra I stepped over the marker and I think that has been the talking point of what actually happened the actual no ball itself,” Pollard said.

You really expect pollard to say it was deliberate....

If guyana cross 150...pressure for tkr to make that...after seeing them bat the other day

Didn't think they would do it, especially without Brendon and Shadab. Well done TKR.

it's gonna be a difficult final...they don't have good replacements for Brendon and Shadab...then again, once Gayle and Lewis goes within the first few overs, they good to go

Yasir Shah for Khan wasn't a bad switch.
McCullum's loss is the one they have not gotten a good replacement for.
