reminds me of some economist i was talking to, this country has some real dotish "academics", since she reckoned that colonialism ended in the region since it was voted out by Europeans....haha. really? more like WWII, the rise of nationalism in the colonies, and a lack of funds/will to maintain colonies. if indepdennce creates faux-academics, then so be it.

With all the money pass though this country's coffers, each citizen could more than have been given $1M as part of their share in the National Patrimony.

Not here to argue the pros and cons of such a move (the typical Trini may have had a band load of children just to "cash in"), suffice it to say there is no reason there should be any poverty or hardship in this land...none.

Whether you want to blame the white man, politicians or the 1% it all boils down to gross mismanagement of resources which continues to have this country on sh!t street.

And for everybody is still talk, talk, talk and talk because well, dais what we good at.

What you feel those things are? You feel those things cheap? A "prestige" school in the UK costs 40,000 pounds a year to the parent. In trinidad it's free.
