Remember the big cleanup we had recently? What was really cleaned?

We cleaned, but forget to dredge our waterways. Look at the amount of flooding ..............

That was a PR exercise to mask the number of faux pas by the Govt and a clear signal of the amount to come.

Yeah when I passed there around 7:30 am it also had water on that side, enough so that vehicles had to leave that lane and go to the other side to pass.

Hoping it gone down now and not rise with all the rain it had today....

Taken from storm carib website

My Dear People of Paradise,

Let's get the facts.

770 miles away at 01:15 a.m. Monday
moving at approx. = 12 mph. due west.
Gives you 770 / 12 = 64 hours (or 48+16=64).
Following on from 01:15 a.m. Monday
to 01:15 a.m. Wednesday + 16 hrs.

The Centre should be over us at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Now, If it is 270 miles wide, (and the centre is near the middle),
minus 135 / 12 = (approx.) 11 hrs.

Meaning Impact will commence at 06:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Met Office:

http://www.metoffice.gov.tt/Bulletins

Bulletin #1

Date: Monday 17th of July 2017
ISSUED AT: 11:46 AM

AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER EAST OF THE SOUTHERN
WINDWARDS

At 11:00 a.m. today, Monday 17th July, 2017, an
area of disturbed weather was located
approximately 850km east of the southern Windward
islands. This area of disturbed weather has a
medium (50%) chance of tropical cyclone
development over the next 24 to 48 hours. Even if
the system does not develop into a tropical
cyclone, the greater part of the activity is
expected to affect the southern Windward islands
north of Tobago. Trinidad and Tobago can
experience some inclement weather on Wednesday
19th July, 2017 associated with this system.

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service
(TTMS) is investigating and monitoring this area
of disturbed weather, paying particular attention
to the likelihood of tropical cyclone
development. All interests in Trinidad and
Tobago, Grenada and its Dependencies are asked to
monitor the progress of this system and pay close
attention to information being issued by the TTMS
by visiting our website at www.metoffice.gov.tt,
downloading our mobile app (search: TT Met Office)
and following us on Twitter and Facebook. The TTMS
is reminding citizens that we are in the Hurricane
Season and adequate preparation is advised.

WE WISH TO UNDERSCORE THAT AT THIS TIME TRINIDAD
AND TOBAGO IS NOT UNDER ANY TROPICAL CYCLONE WATCH
OR WARNING.

The TTMS will be closely monitoring this system as
it moves across the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and
will issue another bulletin within 24 hours or
earlier if the situation warrants
