anyone tape up windows? or is 65kph safe? and what is the real hazard- wind pressure or flying debris hitting it?

Short clip from about 3:55am June 19th 2017 captured on an offshore survey vessel on the Atlantic east of Trinidad and Tobago. Strong winds and lightning preceding the formation of Tropical Storm Bret.

Those small dip, I suspect is just the lines swinging and shorting intermittently... too frequent and brief to be generation side.

As Insha that lights went low, and fan breeze reduce... looks like voltage drop. Probably an ammonia plant went down

In hurricanes and ts, lightning generation is not conducive.

This Tropical Storm Warning means that Trinidad and Tobago in this case, can continue to

can expect Tropical Storm conditions within 6 hours.
At 11:00 pm, Monday June 19, 2017, the centre of Tropical Storm Bret was located near 10.0ºN
latitude 61.3ºW longitude near the southern coast of Trinidad.
Tropical Storm Bret is moving to the west-northwest at about 37 km/hr and is expected to
gradually slow down over the next 48 hours. On the forecast track, Bret is expected to begin
moving away from Trinidad and toward the northeast coast of Venezuela early Tuesday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 65 km/hr with higher gusts. Little change in strength is
forecast during the next 12 to 24 hours. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 130 km
from the centre. Minimum central pressure is 1008mb.
Citizens and all concerned are advised to closely follow the directions and advice of their Disaster
Emergency Managers at this time. Adopt all necessary measures to preserve life and property.
Repeating the position of Bret at 11:00 pm is 10.0ºN latitude 61.3ºW longitude, near the southern
coast of Trinidad.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service will issue another bulletin at 3:00am, Tuesday
20th June, 2017. All interests in Trinidad and Tobago are asked to monitor the progress of this
system and pay close attention to information being issued by the TTMS by visiting our website
