Heard on tonight's news coverage that some BP workers are questioning their dismissal.

Can anyone shed some light on the matter?

Not to mention the false accent. Reminiscent of Sasha Singh maybe?

Are u talking about the guys that sheit down the Rowan XL? Those guys shut it down citing safety concerns but there is alot more to it than that. They have been in negotiations with Lennox for increases, as much as 40% which is now in the courts.

They were escorted off the rig and we're replaced. Now they bitching. I know a few of the guys... They making upwards of 20k per month ttd as roustabouts in this climate and still crying for money. Throw your frame.

I understand...thanks for the info....

I know of Lennox I have previously sent my resume there....they seemed like a descent enough company....I didn't think that they were the type of company that would get themselves in that sort of thing...

Was the company's treatment of the workers really that bad....or were the workers getting a bit ahead of themselves?

Drilling work is by its very nature dangerous and safety is no laughing matter but did the workers have good reason or was this a failed "land grab"?

LPSL offered them salary increases, but the union stepped in and refused it, asking for more (as usual)...
so they start a go slow mentality, and eventually replaced... now they crying

Nix on the M4 mothball for the time being. Just heard from a neighb who works at IPSL that Proman negotiated 3 months gas supply from NGC. Atlantic LNG however....now thats a different story.

Well from what i heard its a temporary fix with M4. Not sure about the validity of the ALNG speculation but i've heard the same thing from different sources.

Cabinet affirms NGC's role as an aggregator of gas though, so that means that any gas from De Novo will HAVE to go to NGC and not directly to Proman to supply the M1-3 plants, as was the original thinking by the Germans.
