Where does sell fine tooth mitre handsaws like this?

I have a 9 TPI saw from Bhagwansingh's but its not fine enough. (it was the most TPI mitre saw on the shelves at the time)

Regular saws mess up the grain on the wood leaving lots of pits. And hacksaws are a pain to keep square and true

Allied has but didn't watch the TPI.

Bought a coping saw which was availaible in different TPI so chances are this one is as well.

Also saw this at Peakes.

True saws like that for dovetails are not cheap and often not mass produced

Cheap saws have trouble keeping fence aligned same all the time.
A saw with bad working fence is useless no matter how cheap it was.

The Skil looks like fence is moved by gears on one side only, the better ones have rack,pinion on front and back.

That is a tenon saw for joinery works. This saw has to be sharpened regularly so that it can operate at its optimum potential. There are different types of handle which can complicate how it works. There is a place in Laventille ACME where I sharpen my saws. Also has someone in Arima ........ Even when They sharpen it you have to get a file and hone it to suit you.

You may have to watch a few You Tubers so you do not have to re-invent the wheel .............

The Skil has a manually clamped rail. It's a solid, cheap system that has been around for over a century.

Ryobi, Skil, Rigid, etc., all have similar models that I have seen on sale for about US$100 in store - and less than $50 for refurbished.

You should be able able to get one for about TT$1200 landed.

It's not going to help build fine cabinetry but for ripping and some panelling, you should be fine.

d price point reflects what u get & u get what u pay for

almost 2 yrs ago i opted for d much better dewalt which cost 2-3 times of d cheaper built saws & i have no complaints , get urself a shopvac too to keep d dust down

b4 u buy anything local check d model numbers to see if its a recent or older model & do check online for reviews ......

Yeah, dust collection is a must.
I use a Oneida dust deputy cyclone but the diy traffic cone ones work well.

I am looking for softish rubber foam like rubber slippers which is about half inch thick
