I looking for a 3/3.5 ton low profile jack.I see alot of people using a purple Majic jack.Is it worth the money?Whats the average price?

I'm using one of those since September last year. No problems, so far but the wheels are a bit odd to get moving in a uneven surface. They are solid metal so that's a plus. If you need to move it regular in vehicles it's extremely heavy for one person. Other than that it's a great buy for the price.

Heavy enough that I usually don't have to put much force behind it.
Dead blow really helps with feedback and bounce.

20oz works fine for me, i checked all over for a hammer when my only 16oz broke, ended up allied and bought them about 28-35$ for the 20oz 35-40 for the 24 i think. Good stanley with a wooden handle

Hacksaw Bro tip:

For power: put the blade so it cuts on the push stroke, that way you can put some body weight into the stroke for cutting tough materials, or to cut faster. Also your tricep is a bigger muscle than the bicep, the tricep is responsible for pushing your arm out.

For precision: flip the blade around so it cuts on the pull stroke. It takes more time, but you can control the blade better.

Good info, i usually work hacksaws the wrong direction mainly because to start it tends to sway, i usually turn it the correct direction once the start is made.

Hacksaws are designed so that you can cut on an angle. Because of the thin, flexible blade you getting a straight cut by hand is tough. The Dewalt shown above is a high-tension frame saw that can hold a blade at much higher tension and eliminate most of the side to side play in the blade so that you get straighter cuts. I like the low profile saws that are a one piece cast frame.

easy to cut str8 with a high quality hacksaw [not dem cheap as $20 chinese rubbish hacksaws] but how u move ur arm is d key , slow str8 steady push strokes

I can only speak for the 3M: they are widely available and work well. It's fairly easy to find filters and cartridges locally. Even the disposable models will last a surprisingly long time if you use just a little care.

hav both msa and 3m half face and that beats them out by miles for what I want it for...almost weightless on ur face...nose and mouth hardly sweats....and sorta conforms to your face....only used it for mdf dust and fiberglass sanding though....

I have some 1" thick styrotex sheet that had some fiberglass weave cloth on some areas that needs to be cut and peeled off, it is the cloth that is woven with thin fibers, not the random type used on boats.

I use my dremel and some diamond coated discs. Bought a pack of 5 on amazon some time back and still usijg the first one. Cuts fiberglass with ease.

Similar discs are over $100.00 in stores. I paid about $10.00 usd

when ur cutting hav someone with a vacuum to pull the dust...
u could use a circular saw and adjust the depth to suit....will be faster but more dust
