This question seems to be on many peoples minds 'nowadays' and it appears as if those affected may be trying too hard to find love.
The simple truth maybe.........just go easy in your quest and first love and respect yourself and let things fall in place.

Evidently not today where homes are missing fathers and mothers, who walked out on their children for selfish reasons and who refused to keep them or even bear them. Parental love however has the traits of the greatest love of all that transcends all others which comes from God. Agape or unconditional love, known as charity.

Love exists, but it does not keep a relationship or marriage together as other factors that are stronger can override it resulting in a breakup. Knowledge and understanding is what make relationships work.

Plus you can be in love all you want but that does not mean that the other person is right for you, especially if the person doesn't love you back, took you for granted/gave up on you, or used/abused you.

such meagre thoughts to think that love is for humans and God only. What about all the other life on earth? The biomolecules that evolved over billions of years? What about the future with robots and networked intelligence? What about the things outside Earth? Galaxies and dust and energy colliding and leading to creation over billions of years. How are we really going to define "love" ?

The Matrix films covered this topic quite well. It's too bad that the entire assertion of the story went right over the head of many, many, many millions of people. It also wasn't for an energy supply, but to use human brains as linked servers processing power.

Nice balance of sense and kicks so far. To add...once u love urself u would knw what u want and deserve in life, and from an intimate relationship. As someone said love is a choice, so make the choice that will get u where u want to be, but at the same time be certain that u can help the other person get where they want to be also. There are other variables that I would say that are understood.
