Robocop Nephew - Second man in command of the Unruly Isis Gang in Enterprise Anton 'Bready' Mitchell was killed in a shootout with Police this morning..

The incident took place early on Thursday morning along Walter Lane Enterprise.
It was alleged that the man was confronted by police officers, during which there was a shootout between the two parties. The suspect – was killed in the exchange. A 9mm firearm was reportedly recovered at the scene.

Around 3:00am Today Police Officers of the I.A.T.F Strike Team responded to a report of shots fired at Police officers at the corner Railway Road and Riverlet Road Couva on arrival met officers of the Couva CID who reported that around 2:00am they responded to a report of Robbery at La Croix Street Couva

Upon arrival they observed a man of African descent, approximately six (6) feet tall, dark in complexion, and dressed in dark clothing moving away from the scene, when the officers approached, the suspect pointed a firearm in there direction and opened fire, the officers then returned fire wounding the suspect who ran and the officers gave chase.

Whilst in pursuit of the suspect the officers fell into a nearby river and sustained minor injuries. The suspect then fell to the ground a short distance away.

DMO pronounced the suspect dead and ordered the body’s removal. Both officers were treated and discharged.
