Explained it in a previous post. Couple pages back. Multiple converging factors around trinidad that work to provide storms with a path away from trinidad. Fault lines/mountain ranges, magnetic anomalies etc. Including the coriolis effect.

Weeey look how big that get. Mm yeah next few days probably gonna be nonstop rain lol. Dont know if there's a chance of that forming into a hurricane yet. But if it plans on doing it let that happen after it pass us like matthew yes lol.

Matthew seems to have re-absorbed the yolk and is picking up speed now in it's northern path(10mph). Them jamaican fishermen get away by the skin of their teeth.

how much % we have on the shield after Mathew or the shield is full repaired

Doh beat up. Shield is powered by the core of the earth so it always at full hundred. Issue with the shield is that its not solid right thru and there are spaces. Matthew find all the spaces. And this itcz disturbance coming from the southeast comin straight thru the entry space to try and pass under the shield it seems. If it does that, the shields should keep it dispersed and slow it down until it chokes. So basically just normal stormy weather.

Dispersed systems like this one can move thru the shields. Is the fully formed systems like hurricanes that might have trouble getting in from outside along the northern coast. But matthew real try boy, he try but couldnt make. Had to abort cut his losses and go with what he knows works lol.

The official tropical weather thread 2016

Postby 2WNBoost » October 4th, 2016, 2:39 pm

Bulletin #

Date: Tuesday 04th of October 2016
ISSUED AT: 01:08 PM

INCLEMENT WEATHER WITH STRONG WINDS TO AFFECT
TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

An active Tropical Wave is currently located east of Trinidad and Tobago with accompanying strong low level winds. Latest radar and satellite imagery indicate that the leading edge of this Tropical Wave is expected to affect Tobago first, within the next few hours with isolated moderate to heavy showers or thundershowers and accompanying gusty winds.

Current analysis and Numerical Weather Prediction Models (NWP) suggest that strong winds in excess of 50km/h are expected to accompany showers and thundershowers. Street/flash flooding is likely in areas of heavy downpours. These conditions will affect Tobago and to a lesser extent Trinidad over the next few hours. Some improvement is expected this evening however, conditions are forecast to gradually deteriorate again towards midnight into tomorrow, Wednesday, 5th October 2016 with similar conditions forecast.

Given the expected conditions, citizens are advised to be vigilant and cautious as they conduct their activities.

We wish to underscore that Trinidad and Tobago is not under any Tropical Storm Watch or Warning. The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service will continue to closely monitor this weather event and will issue another bulletin as warranted.
