I have Blink TV (145 Channels) and Flow Internet (30 Mbps.) These work well enough for my purposes. I also have an Android TV box that also works well now.
I was thinking of signing up for Digicel Play Loud package when they reach Mausica area but after reading this forum I am very skeptical: slow/variable/unreliable speeds, TV box not working, streaming issues, Iptv4, Iptv6, etc.

And if u have to disconnect. They make u being the modem all the way to maraval and wait in a ridiculously long line to sort it it. Then they hit u with the disconnection fees

look at the state of this thread.

so Digicel is officially worse than Flow and they haven't even activated most areas as yet the China man Huawei tech has already failed. So much for Huawei being the same or just as good as CISCO

Can't say anything bad so far, no downtime nor speed drops.

More info re: disconnection, thanks.....I'm feeling more & more like I will stay as is.....take the lowest TV package with Blink as I have TV box...save about $100.00
Upgrade Flow internet to 45 Mbps...cost extra $70.00
Overall savings of $30.00ish....leave well alone, if it ain't broke why try to fix it....
Keep Digicel in backpocket for now...

Thanks

So what's the first impressions?

Can't complain. Internet is very fast. Haven't played any online games yet. I also like the interface for the cable although there is a slight lag. I find it pretty straightforward to use.

I thought DMZ was not possible with Digi Play modem. Is Digi modem WiFi off?.
Is it now possible to bridge Digi modem.
Is RIP router severing your network from Digi Lan 1 port and handling all WiFi as well

Anybody wanna take a swing at this issue?

I need 5 ethernet ports so I plug in a router to the Digicel modem. Digicel wifi stops working and the router wifi is killer slow.
Switch off the router Wifi and Digicel wifi still not working.
Unplug the router and Digicel Wifi IMMEDIATELY works.
Disconnect the router and hook up a switch to the Digicel Modem. Digicel Wifi stops working.
Unplug the switch and Digicel Wifi IMMEDIATELY works

The router ethernet ports work fine. The switch ethernet ports work fine. Just that the Digicel router is balls
Anybody got a fix for this? I've checked solutions in this thread so far. None of them seem to apply to my situation

What did digicel support tell you when you called them?
