If the man in a private correspondence had images that are being used against him, I see no reason for him to resign.

If there is no misbehaviour in public office, no misappropriation of funds, his office is not compromised.

But if he doesnt want further attention being drawn to the images and himself, he is free to go. No need for public debate whether or not he should go, he told a decision beforehand and I respect him for that.

someone else took the opportunity to RECORD the session..and put it out for public display.

they recorded the session via software that was installed on a pc.
no one hacked the skype chat session and recorded the entire thing.
stop making it appear if it was done in that manner.

a relatively popular software thats used to make training videos can do the same recording - capture video on your screen and audio though your speakers and input from keyoard , mouse and microphone.
