wtk a good electrician for AE101

Postby clmcarlyle » May 9th, 2016, 10:30 am

Guys I am looking for a good electrician to get my speedometer and tachometer working. I have a Toyota Corolla AE101 with a 5AFE engine. The engine alone was changed from a carburetor to fuel injected by the previous owner so I think the speed sensor on it now is still the cable type but the instrument cluster is the pin type. Every electrician I went to say I will have to run the car like that. But based on what going on now with the speed guns I want to get it working.

As above is just to get the correct instrument panel; the tach will get a reading from the ECU once the wiring of the car was done properly.
