I never knew that Trincity does actually open on a Public Holiday to begin with...
I know the cinemas operate but aren't most of the stores normally closed?

Can't understand a bomb threat for an empty mall though

I don't think having the equipment is the problem.
Is what they really using it for should be the concern.

You're the one making it out that receiving bomb threats makes one a "jokey country." I just showing you other jokey countries amidst the ones that never ever could receive a bomb threat

One detained in connection with bomb threat at Trincity Mall

Acting Minister of National Security Stuart Young has confirmed that one person has been apprehended in connection with the bomb threat that was called in to Trincity Mall today.

The Minister, however, declined to give any details on the identity of the suspect.

Minister Young says managers at the mall received a call around 11:45am today, stating "something" would happen in the mall at 12pm.

The owners of Trincity Mall made the decision to evacuate the building and the police conducted a thorough search.

No suspicious packages were found.

There was also no shots fired at the mall, despite reports circulating via social media and voice notes on Whats App.

No bomb threats were made to Long Circular Mall.

Minister Young said that the voice note circulated earlier this week, alleging of a planned attack on the malls, has been deemed to be mischievous.

He is still encouraging the public to be vigilant.

His picture should be in the dictionary as the definition of "dummy". I feel he is an employee working at the mall ,and couldn't bear to work on a holiday.

A man now remind me today about the mystery muslim woman who was on Ian allellyn some weeks back who disclosed top secret info about possible attacks on Trini soil. She was in police protection for months and is from a middle eastern country. Trinis again with their short term memory.

"mystery Muslim woman" Why is she a mystery ?

"top secret info" if it so secret how she know ?

"police protection for months' Really. In this country ? But then how she get on TV ?

"a middle eastern county" Which one ? Israel ?

Sound like a real low budget tv movie.

If ISIS come here to attack... trust me, that info not leaking out so stupid.

More developed and advanced countries who always monitoring everything could never get that information beforehand.
But a stupid backward country like this will get warnings and "leaked" info?
Steups.

Let them keep crying wolf.
