The issue used to be that only agostinis would service them if there was any
problem as these machines have fancy pneumatics in them with all kind of seals.
Agostinis and the Hilti company tracks the serial numbers very closely and would not service a foreign used.

But I've been told there is a lady who can service them.

My brethren have a tool rental store.
He had about 6 TE-70
After years of abuse they startred to give problems....he scrap them down and got all the seals and bearings locally.

They didnt give much service afyer tho...
He swap his whole fleet to dewalt as he couldnt handle Agostini's servicing. Sometimes he would take it in to fix 1 thing and they would fix 5 things and jam him with 1 huge bill

Hiltis are like european performance cars

Most contractors abroad use Hilti or Milwaukee for big rotary hammers

If I had to buy one new I would buy a Milwaukee as they are very common.

it depends, if ur using like seabox then no...i jus copy and paste the receipt onto the email and send it

if ur paying for lcl cargo someone else will hav to say what is needed

nice, I usually clamp or screw a piece of straight as a guide but if the blade has to be dropped too much the motor
hits the guide or clamps

Bought all my equipment new for less than 75% of the cost of his used stuff.

I would rather buy new "good" brand name equipment than 5-10 year old used items that have had thousands of cycles on them.

The "american made" argument is also a ridiculous one.
